Bluesign Pioneers Berghaus were the first British brand to join the bluesign system. If a product contains more than 90% bluesign approved fabrics it will achieve the MADEKIND ™ label.
Performance gear that’s kinder to the planet. Products marked with the MADEKIND ™ label are eco-friendly and could contain recycled material, organic cotton, bio-based material from natural sources, or because they’re made by one of the brand’s sustainable partners.

Minimising Waste Berghaus support initiatives to minimise waste, including: Africa Shoes which sends unwanted shoes to developing countries or uses them for spare parts. In Kind Direct which distributes products, to charity, social enterprise & NFPs.
