Certified B-Corp In 2019, Kathmandu became a certified B-Corp. This means they have to consider the impact of decisions on their workers, customers, suppliers, community and the environment.

Responsible Wool Standard From farm and right through production, certification ensures that wool for certified farms is properly identified and tracked.

100% Ethically sourced Down The Responsible Down Standard protects an animal’s ‘Five Freedoms’. This means no force-feeding and definitely no live-plucking.

Recycolour Cotton Using scraps that are gathered from factory cutting tables, are mixed with virgin cotton to create a stronger finished yarn. The fabric has a distinctive marle-look that needs no dyeing while the recycled cotton uses about 70% less water.

Recycled Polyester In 2020 we expanded our Heli recycled insulation range. The Heli range uses a synthetic ecodown made from recycled plastic bottles, which are broken down into resin and reinvented as polyester fibres that mimic down by trapping warmth in air pockets.
